* Steady state production of the Heat-Set machine with PP / Heat set chamber temperature 145 °C
The MD series Heat-set lines use the full power of the heater elements for quickly heat up of the line for start-up. During
normal operating condition the heating power consumption will be fall down up to 70%, with the help of special chamber
design and effective isolation.
The electricity consumption was measured with an electrical energy measuring device
(Manufacturer; ENTES, consisting of Power meter type MPR 63 and 3 x 400/5A current transformers)
STEAM CONSUMPTION
The Steaming control of the MD series Heat-set can be implemented in three different systems;
-
Manuel steam inlet control
-
Chamber steam inlet pressure control
-
Humidity control with PLEVA Monitoring and control system
The selection of the different control systems can be done easily on the operator Touch screen panel.
MD Heat-set lines are developed and designed specially for energy saving. The inlet/outlets of the belts and also the channels are designed to keep more steam in the heat-set chamber as in swirl flow and therefore reducing the loss of steam into the exhaust.
